Happy to report that a novella, The Jane (excerpted from my draft novel Womb) has been short-listed for the William Wisdom-William Faulkner Prize for a Novella. In addition, my current novel-in-progress, Harmony’s Peace & Joy has been shortlisted in that category!
Always nice to get such encouragement for my writing. The winner will be announced on Faulkner’s birthday, September 24, and presented at Words & Music Writing Festival in New Orleans in October. I love New Orleans, and have enjoyed the Festival in the past. So, if you cross fingers or have other good karma to share, it would be greatly appreciated!
