Happy to report that the Chicago Writers Association awarded “Honorable Mention” to the first chapter of my novel-in-progress, Manna. Publication of Manna is still a ways off, but it’s good to know we’re off to an engaging start!
My seventh novel, Harmony’s Peace & Joy, which was introduced in September, has earned some very nice reviews, including comparisons to Ann Patchett (one of my favorite writers) and Lauren Groff by Booklife. On Amazon.com, Deborah Bornstein wrote: “Reed’s principal characters are brilliant, thoughtful and funny. In masterful prose, these actors think, learn and joke their way through the complex mysteries and surprises of sibling love and rivalry.
